The biological farm Cutula is situated in Contrada Cutula
(Giarre) on Mount Etna slopes, in the province of Catania. It
is 7 hectares large and it has the AIAB (Associazione Italiana
Agricoltura Biologica) Biological Certificate, EC Control Regulation
(Aut. MIRAAF n. 9697171 of 18/12/1996) IT-AIB D49G F., released
after a long conversion system.
In the farm we grow citrus fruits and vegetables, and we
can guarantee the quality of our produces as we attentively
control all production phases, through constant and accurate
daily inspections.

Our goal is to respect our consumers
and ourselves.
In order to fulfil our goal we use the best and most modern
biological techniques, which allow us to obtain very genuine
produces with no plant protection or chemical products which
otherwise could poison both soil and food.
Any dangerous and pathogenic insects are fought with antagonist
insects, the so-called "useful insects" or plant extracts. |
To fertilize the soil we use organic fertilizers of natural
origin only.
The production cycle is therefore carried out with natural
methods, thoroughly safe both for human beings and nature.
