BIOBELICE is a small co-operative company which
started working in 2000; it occupies a total surface of 100 hectares
and its activity consists in processing, packaging and marketing biological
products, grown by the member farms.
These farms are located in the
Belice Valley, in the surroundings of Castelvetrano and Partanna,
at about 180 and 240 mt above sea level, at the border of the area
delimiting the archaeological site of Selinunte to Torre Bigini, up
to the medieval castle of Partanna.
The location of the farms and the microclimate of the area generate
very high quality products, much appreciated by consumers.
The BIOBELICE is directly managed by its members and the products
currently on sale are: citrus fruits, orange marmalade, table olives,
extra-virgin olive oil.
